Privacy Policy

1. Overview
LOERadar (“LOERadar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the LOERadar platform (“the Service”), how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your personal data.
We designed the Service with privacy in mind. We do not sell your personal information, we do not use advertising trackers, and we do not track you across other sites. Our usage analytics are first-party (we run them ourselves); the only third parties that touch your data are the service providers that run the platform, listed in Section 6. This policy describes exactly what we collect, how long we keep it, and who processes it.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, your name, your company or organization (if you provide it at signup), and an encrypted password. You may also provide information voluntarily in feedback submissions.
Usage & Analytics Data (First-Party, Cookieless)
We operate our own first-party analytics — no third-party analytics providers, no advertising trackers, and no analytics cookies. When you view a page, our server records the page path, referring site, country (derived at our hosting edge), and a coarse browser-vs-bot classification.
Anonymous visitors are counted with a salted hash that rotates every day, so we can count daily visitors but cannot link an anonymous visitor across days, and we never track anyone across other sites. In addition, we compute a separate, stable salted hash of the visiting network so that repeat visits from the same corporate network can be grouped for the company-level attribution described below. That network hash identifies a network, not a person.
Logged-in activity is linked to your account. When you are signed in, the pages you view are recorded against your user ID so we can understand how the product is used and support your account. This activity is visible to LOERadar administrators; it is not shared outside LOERadar.
Company-level attribution.For anonymous production traffic, we briefly retain a sample of the visiting IP address and look up the organization that operates that network — using reverse DNS and the ipinfo.io lookup service (which receives the sampled IP address for that purpose, and nothing else). The raw IP sample is deleted as soon as the lookup completes, and is hard-deleted within 24 hours in all cases by an automated database job — whether or not the lookup ran. What persists is the organization-level result (for example, “this network belongs to a pharmaceutical company”), which we use to understand aggregate company-level interest in the Service. We do not use it to identify or profile individual anonymous visitors.
Email Delivery Telemetry
Alert and digest emails we send contain a first-party tracking pixel (a tiny image loaded from our own servers) and route links to our site through our own click-tracking redirect. This tells us, per message, whether the pixel was loaded and whether a link was clicked, so we can measure whether our alerts are useful. No third-party tracking service is involved, and the tracking tokens embedded in an email stop working 30 days after it is sent.
Error Monitoring & Session Replay (Sentry)
We use Sentry, a third-party error-monitoring service, to find and fix bugs. Sentry receives error reports (stack traces, browser and page context) when something breaks. We also enable Sentry Session Replay on a small sample of sessions (about 1%, plus sessions where an error occurs): it captures a reconstruction of what the page looked like as you used it, with all text content and form inputs masked by default before anything leaves your browser. Replay data is used only for debugging.
Watchlist & Alert Preferences
Drugs, patents, applicants, and application numbers you add to your watchlist are stored in our database to power alerting features. This data is visible only to you and our system.
Feedback Data
When you submit feedback through the Service, we collect the message content, the page you were viewing, and your email address so we can follow up if needed. Feedback is stored in our database and may be emailed to our team.
Device & Log Data
Our hosting infrastructure automatically records standard server logs when you access the Service, including your IP address, browser type, referring URLs, and access timestamps. This data is used for security, fraud prevention, rate limiting, and service operation.

We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain your account and the Service
- Send email alerts and notifications about changes to your watched items
- Measure how the Service is used — including which organizations' networks visit it and whether our alert emails are read and clicked — to improve the product and demonstrate aggregate interest in it
- Improve, optimize, and develop new features for the Service
- Communicate important service updates and security notices
- Respond to feedback, support inquiries, and feature requests
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your personal information to build advertising profiles, serve targeted ads, or make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance— processing necessary to provide the Service you requested (account management, alerts, watchlist functionality).
- Legitimate interests— improving and securing the Service, measuring how it is used (including the company-level attribution, account-linked usage, and email telemetry described in Section 2), and preventing fraud.
- Consent— where required by law, such as email communications beyond essential service notifications.
- Legal obligation— where processing is required to comply with applicable laws or regulations.
5. Data Sources
The pharmaceutical data displayed on this platform is sourced entirely from publicly available U.S. government databases, including the FDA Orange Book, Drugs@FDA, openFDA API, Purple Book, PACER, USPTO PTAB records, ClinicalTrials.gov, CMS Medicare data, VA Federal Supply Schedule, NADAC, Regulations.gov, and the Federal Register. We do not collect or display any non-public pharmaceutical data.
6. No Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use advertising cookies or advertising tracking pixels, and we do not build advertising profiles based on your activity. Our usage analytics are first-party and used solely to operate and improve the Service.
We share personal data only with the service providers (processors) that run the platform on our behalf, each of which receives only what its role requires:
Beyond these processors, we do not share your personal data with anyone except as required by law.
7. Cookies & Authentication
We use cookies solely for authentication session management. These cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled while using authenticated features.
8. U.S. State Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or another U.S. state with comprehensive privacy legislation, you may have additional rights under applicable state law:
- California (CCPA/CPRA)— You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
- Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA)— You have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising (which we do not engage in).

9. International Data Transfers
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers and third-party service providers are located. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States. We take steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
